Thanks for your comment. I think we might be talking about different aspects of social systems, it may even be that we mean different things by “social systems”.
For us, the individual can be segmented in two. The human being that he/she is, and that is know only to oneself. Only you can know and access and be in touch with David, the whole human being.
The parts of that human being that establish relationships with others, we call personas. And every human being has a lot of personas, depending on who the other side of the relationship is or means to us. Sometimes, you can even have different personas with the same human being.
And to us, a social system is the result of the interaction between two personas who share a common purpose. These interactions are cycles of communications. Is important to note that we use the word “communication” as a single interaction in which a person offers a contribution and the other person assigns a meaning to it and decides how or even if, to respond.
Therefore, when we say there are three levels of social systems, we mean there are three degrees of interaction, conversation (a group of communications) , organizations (a group of conversations) and society (a group of organizations).
